It was fabulous to see so many Swanny competitors at the state carnivals throughout March. We were represented across the Open, Masters, Boats, Lifesaving, Nippers and Little Nippers arenas. Congratulations to Bernie Williams and Rhodri Simmonds who both took home gold in the 2km Beach Run, and special mention to the Masters competitors who earned Swanny a single digit placing, coming in 9th (out of 21 clubs) in the overall standings. Just like fine wine, it seems Swanny members get even better with age.
