2023 Club of the Year

Swanbourne Nedlands Surf Life Saving Club was honored to be recognised as the Lavan Club of the Year (Reg Trigg Memorial Trophy) at SLSWA’s 2023 Awards of Excellence. This is thanks to the fantastic work of all Swanny members, and all supporters who are Swanny at heart.

Congratulations to each and every one of you for your commitment to our club. This is a terrific achievement and recognition for success across all areas of surf life saving. For our 90th Year of Service, it’s amazing to receive the Reg Trigg Memorial Trophy - a towering figure in SNSLSC’s growth and development in our first 50 years - as we are in another high point of growth and development of our club. With the amazing volunteer work being done by clubs all along the coast as part of the surf life saving movement, and in particular this year’s fellow finalists for Lavan Club of the Year, it is truly the highest honour to be recognised this way as a club. Congratulations Swanny! We could not be more proud❤️🦢💙

And a special mention to Jordi Broomhall - a finalist in the SLSWA Awards for Excellence in the category of Young Volunteer of the Year. Always a winner in our eyes, congratulations Jordi!
