Hi all Swanny patrolling members,
Surf Lifesaving is trying to organise a better mix of patrol uniform sizing's than last season, for this we need your help. If you can take a minute of your time and go to www.lifesavingonline.com.au and fill in your uniform size it would be a big help.

Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) in conjunction with the Department of Health and Aging (DOHA) has developed a new website that contains a raft of beach safety information presented to the public in an interesting format. It is anticipated that this information will allow the beach-going public to make an informed choice on what beach to visit based upon available beach safety, hazard and risk information related to that beach or area.
www.beachsafe.org.au
Swanbourne Beach
The website contains the following information and features:
Fact sheets on beach safety in English
Fact sheets on beach safety in a variety of other languages
Ability to search by beach, suburb or town to allow you to find information on a particular beach
Ability to translate the entire contents of the website ‘on the fly’ into many languages so that non-English reading people can view the beach safety information
Hazard and risk information on over 11,990 beaches from the ABSAMP database
Club / Lifeguard service provider information from Surfguard
Patrol service information provided from Surfguard
Available facilities at a beach from the ABSAMP database
Localised weather, forecast, tide and swell information from the Bureau of Meteorology for each beach (where available)
Donate button linked to the Surf Life Saving Foundation
A link to Lifesaving Online for those who may wish to join a surf club
A host of other features will be made available through the site such as live camera feeds, specialised safety information and interactive games when it becomes available.
