Australian Lifesaving Academy - Commercial Training PDF
Written by Tim Tucak

There are nearly 13000 members of surf life saving clubs in WA. Many of these members are employed by, or know commercial and corporate organisations that require First Aid training, either as part of their duty of care, or as a pre-requisite for their employment.

The Australian Lifesaving Academy WA welcome the opportunity to deliver this training to the commercial sector. For every referral made to the WA Academy, by a club member, Swanbourne Nedlands SLSC will receive a financial benefit.

The referral need only be emailed to the Australian Lifesaving Academy WA at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . ALA WA only require the company name, contact person, contact details and any background information that may be available.  Make sure your you tell ALA you are a member of Swanbourne Nedlands SLSC.

The Academy Business Development Officer Tenneille Trigwell will follow up the referral and discuss with them their training requirements.  All referrals will be logged and payment will be made to SNSLSC after the course has been staged and the corresponding organisation has paid.

The courses that are part of the referral reward scheme are as follows:

Senior First Aid senior_first_aid

Basic First Aid basic_first_aid_

C.P.R.  (Resuscitation) resuscitation

Certificate IV Training and Assessment  cert_iv_taa

The core purpose of employees of the WA Academy is to increase the profile and awareness of surf lifesaving by generating new business so that ALA WA can continue to invest in WA members and WA clubs.
